Is being LGBTQ+ wrong in Islam?

God’s mercy reaches every LGBTQ+ person, because God says “my mercy encompasses all things” [Qur’an 7:156]. You carry the honor God gave to all of humanity: “we have honored the children of Adam” [Qur’an 17:70]. When the Qur’an speaks of how people differ, it names one measure of worth: “The most honored of you in God's sight is the most mindful of him” [Qur’an 49:13], so your standing with God rests on your heart and on how you treat others. No one is blamed for how they were created, and each soul answers only for itself [Qur’an 6:164]. You can come to God as you are, and the mercy that holds everything holds you too.
