وَتَذَرُونَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةَ
Wa tazaroonal Aakhirah
A zaniedbujecie ostateczne.
and neglect the hereafter.
Tadharūna is an unusual verb in Arabic: it survives only in the present tense and the imperative, its past forms having gone out of use so early that grammarians describe them as supplied from another root. Every occurrence of it across the Qur'an follows that pattern, so the leaving described here is stated as something ongoing and never as something completed. The line also finishes a thought the previous verse started, which is why the rebuke reads as one breath split across two numbers.
