Surah At-Tin — التين

Chapter 95 of the Qur'an · “The Fig” · 8 verses · revealed in Makkah

  1. 95:1 وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ By the fig, by the olive,
  2. 95:2 وَطُورِ سِينِينَ by Mount Sinai,
  3. 95:3 وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ by this safe town,
  4. 95:4 لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ We create man in the finest state
  5. 95:5 ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ then reduce him to the lowest of the low,
  6. 95:6 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ except those who believe and do good deeds–– they will have an unfailing reward.
  7. 95:7 فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ After this, what makes you [man] deny the Judgement?
  8. 95:8 أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ Is God not the most decisive of judges?
