55:4عَلَّمَهُ ٱلْبَيَانَand taught him to communicate.
55:5ٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ بِحُسْبَانٍThe sun and the moon follow their calculated courses;
55:6وَٱلنَّجْمُ وَٱلشَّجَرُ يَسْجُدَانِthe plants and the trees submit to His designs;
55:7وَٱلسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ ٱلْمِيزَانَHe has raised up the sky. He has set the balance
55:8أَلَّا تَطْغَوْا۟ فِى ٱلْمِيزَانِso that you may not exceed in the balance:
55:9وَأَقِيمُوا۟ ٱلْوَزْنَ بِٱلْقِسْطِ وَلَا تُخْسِرُوا۟ ٱلْمِيزَانَweigh with justice and do not fall short in the balance.
55:10وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلْأَنَامِHe set down the Earth for His creatures,
55:11فِيهَا فَـٰكِهَةٌ وَٱلنَّخْلُ ذَاتُ ٱلْأَكْمَامِwith its fruits, its palm trees with sheathed clusters,
55:12وَٱلْحَبُّ ذُو ٱلْعَصْفِ وَٱلرَّيْحَانُits husked grain, its fragrant plants.
55:13فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:14خَلَقَ ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ مِن صَلْصَـٰلٍ كَٱلْفَخَّارِHe created mankind out of dried clay, like pottery,
55:15وَخَلَقَ ٱلْجَآنَّ مِن مَّارِجٍ مِّن نَّارٍthe jinn out of smokeless fire.
55:16فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:17رَبُّ ٱلْمَشْرِقَيْنِ وَرَبُّ ٱلْمَغْرِبَيْنِHe is Lord of the two risings and Lord of the two settings.
55:18فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:19مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِHe released the two bodies of [fresh and salt] water. They meet,
55:20بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِyet there is a barrier between them they do not cross.
55:21فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:22يَخْرُجُ مِنْهُمَا ٱللُّؤْلُؤُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُPearls come forth from them: large ones, and small, brilliant ones.
55:23فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:24وَلَهُ ٱلْجَوَارِ ٱلْمُنشَـَٔاتُ فِى ٱلْبَحْرِ كَٱلْأَعْلَـٰمِHis are the moving ships that float, high as mountains, on the sea.
55:25فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:26كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍEveryone on earth perishes;
55:27وَيَبْقَىٰ وَجْهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو ٱلْجَلَـٰلِ وَٱلْإِكْرَامِall that remains is the Face of your Lord, full of majesty, bestowing honour.
55:28فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:29يَسْـَٔلُهُۥ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ هُوَ فِى شَأْنٍEveryone in heaven and earth entreats Him; every day He is at work.
55:30فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:31سَنَفْرُغُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَ ٱلثَّقَلَانِWe shall attend to you two huge armies [of jinn and mankind].
55:32فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:33يَـٰمَعْشَرَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنِ ٱسْتَطَعْتُمْ أَن تَنفُذُوا۟ مِنْ أَقْطَارِ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱنفُذُوا۟ ۚ لَا تَنفُذُونَ إِلَّا بِسُلْطَـٰنٍJinn and mankind, if you can pass beyond the regions of heaven and earth, then do so: you will not pass without Our authority.
55:34فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:35يُرْسَلُ عَلَيْكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّن نَّارٍ وَنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنتَصِرَانِA flash of fire and smoke will be released upon you and no one will come to your aid.
55:36فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:37فَإِذَا ٱنشَقَّتِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتْ وَرْدَةً كَٱلدِّهَانِWhen the sky is torn apart and turns crimson, like red hide.
55:38فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:39فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسْـَٔلُ عَن ذَنۢبِهِۦٓ إِنسٌ وَلَا جَآنٌّOn that Day neither mankind nor jinn will be asked about their sins.
55:40فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:41يُعْرَفُ ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ بِسِيمَـٰهُمْ فَيُؤْخَذُ بِٱلنَّوَٰصِى وَٱلْأَقْدَامِThe guilty will be known by their mark and will be seized by their foreheads and their feet.
55:42فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:43هَـٰذِهِۦ جَهَنَّمُ ٱلَّتِى يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَThis is the Hell the guilty deny,
55:44يَطُوفُونَ بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ حَمِيمٍ ءَانٍbut they will go round between its flames and scalding water.
55:45فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:46وَلِمَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ جَنَّتَانِFor those who fear [the time when they will] stand before their Lord there are two gardens.
55:47فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:49فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:50فِيهِمَا عَيْنَانِ تَجْرِيَانِWith a pair of flowing springs.
55:51فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:52فِيهِمَا مِن كُلِّ فَـٰكِهَةٍ زَوْجَانِWith every kind of fruit in pairs.
55:53فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:54مُتَّكِـِٔينَ عَلَىٰ فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنْ إِسْتَبْرَقٍ ۚ وَجَنَى ٱلْجَنَّتَيْنِ دَانٍThey will sit on couches upholstered with brocade, the fruit of both gardens within easy reach.
55:55فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:56فِيهِنَّ قَـٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ لَمْ يَطْمِثْهُنَّ إِنسٌ قَبْلَهُمْ وَلَا جَآنٌّThere will be maidens restraining their glances, untouched beforehand by man or jinn.
55:57فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:58كَأَنَّهُنَّ ٱلْيَاقُوتُ وَٱلْمَرْجَانُLike rubies and brilliant pearls.
55:59فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:60هَلْ جَزَآءُ ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنِ إِلَّا ٱلْإِحْسَـٰنُShall the reward of good be anything but good?
55:61فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
55:62وَمِن دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِThere are two other gardens below these two.
55:63فَبِأَىِّ ءَالَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبَانِWhich, then, of your Lord’s blessings do you both deny?
