لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ
Lam yalid wa lam yoolad
(Allah) tidak beranak dan tidak pula diperanakkan.
God neither begets nor is begotten,
Both directions are closed in a single line, neither producing offspring nor produced, which answers claims made about God in more than one of the traditions the Qur'an addresses. The symmetry is the argument: whatever is begotten has a beginning, and whatever begets belongs to a series. The line is the shortest of the four and the only one built entirely from negatives.
