ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ فَسَوَّىٰ
Allazee khalaqa fasawwaa
جس نے (انسان کو) بنایا پھر (اس کے اعضاء کو) درست کیا
who created and shaped in due measure,
Each line of this opening runs two verbs joined by fa, the particle for what follows immediately: created and shaped, measured and guided, brought the pasture up and turned it dark. The second verb of each pair completes the first, so nothing in the sequence waits for a later adjustment. That rhythm is laid down first, and the address to whoever is listening comes only afterwards.
