Surah At-Tin — التين

Chapter 95 of the Qur'an · “The Fig” · 8 verses · revealed in Makkah

  1. 95:1 وَٱلتِّينِ وَٱلزَّيْتُونِ By the fig and the olive,
  2. 95:2 وَطُورِ سِينِينَ and by Mount Sinai,
  3. 95:3 وَهَـٰذَا ٱلْبَلَدِ ٱلْأَمِينِ and by this secure land,
  4. 95:4 لَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنَ فِىٓ أَحْسَنِ تَقْوِيمٍ Indeed, we created the human being in the finest form.
  5. 95:5 ثُمَّ رَدَدْنَـٰهُ أَسْفَلَ سَـٰفِلِينَ then we reduced him to the lowest of the low,
  6. 95:6 إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَـٰتِ فَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌ غَيْرُ مَمْنُونٍ except those who believe and do righteous deeds — for them is a reward never ending.
  7. 95:7 فَمَا يُكَذِّبُكَ بَعْدُ بِٱلدِّينِ So what, after this, makes you deny the judgment?
  8. 95:8 أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ ٱلْحَـٰكِمِينَ Is God not the wisest of judges?
