قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَدْعُوا۟ رَبِّى وَلَآ أُشْرِكُ بِهِۦٓ أَحَدًا
Qul innamaaa ad'oo rabbee wa laaa ushriku biheee ahadaa
Say, "I call only upon my Lord, and I associate no one with him."
One indefinite word threads this surah, ahad, anyone at all, standing six times and refused in every one of them. The jinn will associate nobody with their Lord, the places of worship admit nobody alongside God, the Prophet associates nobody, nobody can shelter him, and nobody is let into the unseen. The claim being turned down and the power being disclaimed are built from the same word.
