وَٱذْكُرْ فِى ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ۚ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ صِدِّيقًا نَّبِيًّا
Wazkur fil Kitaabi Ibraaheem; innahoo kaana siddeeqan Nabiyyaa
And mention in the Book Ibrahim. He was truly a man of truth, a prophet.
The surah is running through a sequence of figures, each introduced with the same instruction to mention them, and Ibrahim's entry is placed among them for what follows: a conversation with his father conducted entirely in the affectionate vocative yā abati, my dear father, even while refusing him. Ṣiddīq is an intensive form from the root for truth, and the ordering puts it ahead of prophethood.
