وَيُسْقَوْنَ فِيهَا كَأْسًا كَانَ مِزَاجُهَا زَنجَبِيلًا
Wa yusawna feehaa kaasan kaana mizaajuhaa zanjabeelaa
and they will be given a drink infused with ginger
And there they will be given a cup to drink, mixed with ginger,
The surah pours a second cup here. At 76:5 the righteous drank from a cup described with the identical Arabic phrase, camphor in place of ginger, and each cup is followed a verse later by the spring it comes from. Ginger warms where camphor cools, so the pair also marks a change in the temperature of the scene.
