وَلَقَدْ أَنذَرَهُم بَطْشَتَنَا فَتَمَارَوْا۟ بِٱلنُّذُرِ
Wa laqad anzarahum batshatanaa fatamaaraw binnuzur
He warned them of Our onslaught, but they dismissed the warning-
He had warned them of our crushing blow, but they cast doubt on the warnings.
