۞ وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَجَآءَهُمْ رَسُولٌ كَرِيمٌ
Wa laqad fatannaa qablahum qawma Fir'awna wa jaaa'ahum Rasoolun kareem
We tested the people of Pharaoh before them: a noble messenger was sent to them,
And before them we tested the people of Pharaoh, when a noble messenger came to them,
