وَأَبْصِرْ فَسَوْفَ يُبْصِرُونَ
Wa absir fasawfa yubsiroon
Watch them: they will soon see.
And watch — they will soon see.
Absir and yubsirun share one root, so the command given to the Prophet and the future given to his opponents are the same act of seeing, separated only by when it happens. The pair of verses repeats what stood four lines earlier, and the question about hastening the punishment sits between them, which makes the repetition a frame around the demand for speed. The surah then closes in praise.
