How do I pray at work or school without missing salah?

Islam allows flexibility. You may pray during breaks, in any clean space, even seated if needed. The Prophet ﷺ said, “The whole earth has been made a place of prayer and purification for me” (Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī, 335).

1. Scout a clean, quiet spot in advance (stairwell, empty room, outdoor corner).
2. Set a discreet reminder within the prayer time window.
3. If needed, pray seated; if you cannot prostrate, gesture lightly.
4. Keep the prayer concise and focused; avoid drawing attention.
5. Offer a brief dhikr after, like SubhanAllah/Alhamdulillah/Allahu Akbar.
