جَزَآؤُهُمْ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ جَنَّـٰتُ عَدْنٍ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَـٰرُ خَـٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآ أَبَدًا ۖ رَّضِىَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَرَضُوا۟ عَنْهُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ رَبَّهُۥ
Jazaa-uhum inda rabbihim jan naatu 'adnin tajree min tahtihal an haaru khalideena feeha abada; radiy-yallaahu 'anhum wa ra du 'an zaalika liman khashiya rabbah.
ان کا صلہ ان کے پروردگار کے ہاں ہمیشہ رہنے کے باغ ہیں جن کے نیچے نہریں بہہ رہی ہیں ابدالاباد ان میں رہیں گے۔ خدا ان سے خوش اور وہ اس سے خوش۔ یہ (صلہ) اس کے لیے ہے جو اپنے پروردگار سے ڈرتا رہا
Their reward with their Lord is gardens of everlasting dwelling, with rivers flowing beneath them, where they will remain forever. God is pleased with them, and they are pleased with him. That is for whoever stands in awe of their Lord.
One verb runs in both directions here, the same word for God's contentment with these people and theirs with him, which the Qur'an rarely lets work symmetrically. It arrives as the last thing said, after the garden and the rivers and the permanence have each been named, so the settled relation is what the whole description has been building toward. ʿAdn means to stay put in a place, which is also why Arabic calls a mine a maʿdin.
