فَإِذَا جَآءَتْهُمُ ٱلْحَسَنَةُ قَالُوا۟ لَنَا هَـٰذِهِۦ ۖ وَإِن تُصِبْهُمْ سَيِّئَةٌ يَطَّيَّرُوا۟ بِمُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُۥٓ ۗ أَلَآ إِنَّمَا طَـٰٓئِرُهُمْ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَلَـٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَهُمْ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
Fa izaa jaaa'at humul hasanatu qaaloo lanaa haazihee wa in tusibhum saiyi'atuny yattaiyaroo bi Moosaa wa mam ma'ah; alaaa innamaa taaa'iruhum 'indal laahi wa laakinna aksarahum laa ya'lamoon
تو جب ان کو آسائش حاصل ہوتی تو کہتے کہ ہم اس کے مستحق ہیں۔ اور اگر سختی پہنچتی تو موسیٰ اور ان کے رفیقوں کی بدشگونی بتاتے۔ دیکھو ان کی بدشگونی خدا کے ہاں مقرر ہے لیکن ان میں اکثر نہیں جانتے
When good came to them, they said, "This is ours by right," and when something bad struck them, they took it as an evil omen from Musa and those with him. Yet their omen was only with God — but most of them do not know.
