وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَمَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَإِلَى ٱللَّهِ تُرْجَعُ ٱلْأُمُورُ
Wa lillaahi maa fissamaawaati wa maa fil ard; wa ilal laahi turja;ul umoor
اور جو کچھ آسمانوں میں اور جو کچھ زمین میں ہے سب خدا ہی کا ہے اور سب کاموں کا رجوع (اور انجام) خدا ہی کی طرف ہے
To God belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth, and to God all matters return.
Placed straight after the statement that God wills no injustice, this line reads as its grounds, and commentators drew the argument out: wrongdoing comes from need, or from reaching into what belongs to someone else, and neither can apply to the one who owns everything. The name God is repeated where a pronoun would have served, which keeps both halves, the owning and the returning, pinned explicitly to him.
