وَأَشْرِكْهُ فِىٓ أَمْرِى
Wa ashrik hu feee amree
اور اسے میرے کام میں شریک کر
and let him share in my task,
The verb here is ashrik, from the same root as shirk, and this is one place where partnership is asked for and granted. Musa gives his reason in the next two verses, framing the request around remembrance rather than around his own relief. God grants the whole petition at verse 36, before Pharaoh has been faced at all, so the mission begins with the answer already in hand.
