Tasnim appears by name only here in the entire Qur'an, and its root carries the sense of height, which is why early commentators placed it as the loftiest spring in the garden. The grading matters: the righteous receive their drink mixed with it, while the next verse gives those brought near the spring itself. Reward here has degrees, and the measure is nearness.
