إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَـٰلٍ وَعُيُونٍ
Innal muttaqeena fee zilaalinw wa 'uyoon
Allah'a karşı gelmekten sakınmış olanlar, elbette gölgeliklerde ve pınar başlarındadırlar.
Indeed, those who are mindful of God will be among shades and springs,
Ẓilāl, shades, answers the shadow the deniers were sent to at 77:30, a smoke of three branches that neither cools nor shields from the fire, and both words share one root. The surah repeats its woe to deniers ten times and gives reward this single stretch of four verses, and even here the refrain comes back straight after, at 77:45.
