Surah Al-Mursalat — 77:27

Wa ja'alnaa feehaa rawaasiya shaamikhaatinw wa asqainaakum maaa'an furaataa

And we set upon it towering mountains and gave you sweet water to drink.

Reflection

Furāt names water sweet enough to drink, and it is used twice elsewhere against ujāj, the salt that will not go down. The argument runs downward and then up: the earth was just called kifātan, a vessel gathering whatever is above ground and whatever lies under it, and now that same earth is pinned with mountains and watered. Both halves make one question, which the refrain then answers.
