Surah Al-Mulk — 67:13

Wa asirroo qawlakum awijharoo bihee innahoo 'aleemum bizaatis sudoor

Whether you keep your speech hidden or speak it aloud, he knows what lies within every heart.

Reflection

Verse 12 has just commended people who fear a Lord they cannot see. Hiddenness runs the other way here, and the pairing is deliberate: the ones for whom God is unseen are fully visible to him. Verse 14 completes the argument from making, asking whether a maker could be ignorant of what he made.
