لَا يَسْتَوِىٓ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ وَأَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ ۚ أَصْحَـٰبُ ٱلْجَنَّةِ هُمُ ٱلْفَآئِزُونَ
Laa yastaweee as-haabun naari wa ashaabul jannah; as haabul jannati humul faaa'izoon
Cehennemliklerle cennetlikler bir değildir. Kurtuluşa ermiş kimseler cennetliklerdir.
The companions of the fire and the companions of the garden are not equal. The companions of the garden — they are the triumphant.
The sentence sets up a comparison and then completes only one side of it: after ruling out equality between the two groups, it names the winners and lets the other side stand unnamed. Ashab is the word for people who keep company with something, so a destination is being described as a long association. It closes the run that began with the warning about forgetting God and being made to forget yourself.
