Surah Ali 'Imran — 3:67

مَا كَانَ إِبْرَٰهِيمُ يَهُودِيًّا وَلَا نَصْرَانِيًّا وَلَـٰكِن كَانَ حَنِيفًا مُّسْلِمًا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ

Maa kaana Ibraaheemu Yahoodiyyanw wa laa Nasraa niyyanw wa laakin kaana Haneefam Muslimanw wa maa kaana minal mushrikeen

İbrahim, yahudi de, hıristiyan da değildi, ama doğruya yönelen bir müslimdi; ortak koşanlardan değildi.

Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian. He was upright, one who surrendered to God, and he was not among those who associate others with God.
