فَنَادَتْهُ ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةُ وَهُوَ قَآئِمٌ يُصَلِّى فِى ٱلْمِحْرَابِ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُبَشِّرُكَ بِيَحْيَىٰ مُصَدِّقًۢا بِكَلِمَةٍ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ وَسَيِّدًا وَحَصُورًا وَنَبِيًّا مِّنَ ٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ
Fanaadat hul malaaa'ikatu wa huwa qaaa'imuny yusallee fil Mihraabi annal laaha yubashshiruka bi Yahyaa musaddiqam bi Kalimatim minal laahi wa saiyidanw wa hasooranw wa Nabiyyam minas saaliheen
Mabedde namaz kılarken melekler ona seslendiler: "Allah sana Allah'ın emriyle (vücud bulan İsa'yı) tasdik eden, efendi, iffetli, iyilerden bir peygamber olarak Yahya'yı müjdeler".
The angels called out to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary: "God gives you good news of Yahya, who will confirm a word from God — noble, self-restrained, a prophet from among the righteous."
