فَتَقَبَّلَهَا رَبُّهَا بِقَبُولٍ حَسَنٍ وَأَنۢبَتَهَا نَبَاتًا حَسَنًا وَكَفَّلَهَا زَكَرِيَّا ۖ كُلَّمَا دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا زَكَرِيَّا ٱلْمِحْرَابَ وَجَدَ عِندَهَا رِزْقًا ۖ قَالَ يَـٰمَرْيَمُ أَنَّىٰ لَكِ هَـٰذَا ۖ قَالَتْ هُوَ مِنْ عِندِ ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَرْزُقُ مَن يَشَآءُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ
Fataqabbalahaa Rabbuhaa biqaboolin hasaninw wa ambatahaa nabaatan hasananw wa kaffalahaa Zakariyyaa kullamaa dakhala 'alaihaa Zakariyyal Mihraaba wajada 'indahaa rizqan qaala yaa Maryamu annaa laki haazaa qaalat huwa min 'indil laahi innal laaha yarzuqu mai yashaaa'u bighairi hisaab
Rabbi onu güzel bir kabulle karşıladı, güzel bir bitki gibi yetiştirdi; onu Zekeriya'nın himayesine bıraktı. Zekeriya mabedde onun yanına her girişinde, yanında bir yiyecek bulurdu. "Ey Meryem! Bu sana nereden geldi?" demiş, o da: Bu, Allah'ın katındandır" cevabını vermişti. Doğrusu Allah dilediğini hesapsız rızıklandırır.
So her Lord accepted her with gracious acceptance, caused her to grow in goodness, and placed her under the care of Zakariya. Whenever Zakariya came into the sanctuary where she was, he found provision with her. He said, "Maryam, where has this come to you from?" She said, "It is from God. God provides without measure for whomever he wills."
A vow made over an expected son is accepted for a daughter, and the passage marks that acceptance twice, in the phrase for how God received her and in the verb for how she grew, anbataha, which is the word used of plants coming up from the ground. Zakariya's own prayer for a child follows immediately in the next verse, prompted by the sight of provision arriving that no one had arranged.
