وَمَا كَانَ لِنَفْسٍ أَن تَمُوتَ إِلَّا بِإِذْنِ ٱللَّهِ كِتَـٰبًا مُّؤَجَّلًا ۗ وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱلدُّنْيَا نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا وَمَن يُرِدْ ثَوَابَ ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ نُؤْتِهِۦ مِنْهَا ۚ وَسَنَجْزِى ٱلشَّـٰكِرِينَ
Wa maa kaana linafsin an tamoota illaa bi iznillaahi kitaabam mu'ajjalaa; wa mai yurid sawaabad dunyaa nu'tihee minhaa wa mai yurid sawaabal Aakhirati nu'tihee minhaa; wa sanajzish shaakireen
Hiçbir kimse Allah'ın izni olmadan ölmez; o, belli bir vakte bağlanmıştır. Kim dünya nimetini isterse ona ondan veririz; ve kim ahiret nimetini isterse ona ondan veririz. Şükredenlerin mükafatını vereceğiz.
No soul dies except by God's permission, at a time already written. Whoever seeks the reward of this world, we give them of it; and whoever seeks the reward of the hereafter, we give them of it. And we will reward the grateful.
