Surah Hud — 11:49

Tilka min ambaaa'il ghaibi nooheehaaa ilaika maa kunta ta'lamuhaaaa anta wa laa qawmuka min qabli haazaa fasbir innal 'aaqibata lilmuttaqeen

These are accounts of the unseen that we reveal to you. Neither you nor your people knew them before this. So be patient — the final outcome belongs to those who are mindful of God.

Reflection

The narration breaks off here and the address turns directly to the Prophet, which is how Surah Hud handles each of its stories: the account is told, then turned on the one hearing it. What he has just heard is Nuh losing a son and being told to stop asking about him, so the instruction to be patient lands on a specific grief.
