Surah Yunus — 10:65

Wa laa yahzunka qawluhum; innal 'izzata lillaahi jamee'aa; Huwas Samee'ul 'Aleem

İnkarcıların sözleri seni üzmesin, çünkü bütün kudret Allah'ındır. O, işitir ve bilir.

Do not let their talk grieve you. All might belongs to God; he is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Reflection

The two divine names at the end are chosen to fit the injury: the hurt is speech, and the answer names God as the one who hears. Surah Yunus has just described those close to God as free of fear and grief, and this line applies that description to the Messenger himself. 'Izza, standing and unassailable honour, is the very thing the opponents' talk is trying to strip away, and it is said to belong entirely to God.
