Some seasons refuse to show you their ending. You wait on a result you cannot see, a door that stays half-open, an answer that arrives on a clock you do not control. The Qur'an speaks often to this exact place, where the heart wants certainty and receives instead an invitation to rest in the One who already knows.
These verses do not promise you the map. They promise you a Companion for the walk. Read them slowly when the future feels like a locked room, and let each line loosen the grip of what you cannot yet understand.
2:216 — Fighting has been prescribed for you, though you find it hateful. You may hate something that is good for you, and you may love something that is bad for you. God knows, and you do not.
65:3 — and will provide for them from where they did not expect. Whoever places their trust in God — he is enough for them. Indeed, God brings his purpose to pass; God has set a measure for everything.
3:159 — It was by a mercy from God that you were gentle with them. Had you been harsh and hard of heart, they would have scattered from around you. So pardon them, ask forgiveness for them, and consult them in the matter. Then, once you have resolved, place your trust in God — indeed, God loves those who place their trust in him.
31:34 — Indeed, with God is the knowledge of the hour. He sends down the rain, and he knows what is in the wombs. No soul knows what it will earn tomorrow, and no soul knows in what land it will die. Indeed, God is all-knowing, all-aware.
8:30 — And remember when those who deny plotted against you — to detain you, or kill you, or drive you out. They plot, and God plots, and God is the best of planners.
42:19 — God is subtle with his servants, providing for whom he wills, and he is the Strong, the Mighty.
65:7 — Let the one of abundance spend from his abundance, and the one whose provision is limited, let him spend from what God has given him. God does not burden any soul beyond what he has given it. God will bring ease after hardship.
