Some mornings you wake already tired, before the day has even asked anything of you. Strength in the Qur'an rarely looks like the absence of fear. It looks like a person who keeps standing, who entrusts the outcome to God and lets that be enough.
The verses gathered here speak to that moment. They remind you that no soul is asked to carry more than it can hold, that ease is written on the other side of hardship, and that the One who plants your feet will steady them when you cannot.
2:286 — God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it has earned, and against it is what it has wrought. Our Lord, do not take us to task if we forget or fall into error. Our Lord, do not lay upon us a burden like the one you laid upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us; you are our Protector, so help us against the people who deny.
3:139 — Do not lose heart and do not grieve — you are the higher ones, if you are truly believers.
8:46 — Obey God and his Messenger, and do not quarrel among yourselves, or you will falter and your strength will desert you. Be steadfast — God is with the steadfast.
65:3 — and will provide for them from where they did not expect. Whoever places their trust in God — he is enough for them. Indeed, God brings his purpose to pass; God has set a measure for everything.
3:173 — Those to whom people said, "The people have gathered against you, so fear them" — it only increased them in faith, and they said, "God is enough for us, and the best of guardians."
40:44 — You will remember what I am telling you. I entrust my affair to God — indeed, God sees his servants.
47:7 — You who believe, if you support God, he will support you and make your steps firm.
