Surah Sad — 38:42

ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَـٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ

Urkud birijlika haaza mughtasalum baaridunw wa sharaab

"Strike the ground with your foot — here is cool water to wash in and to drink."

Reflection

Ayyub has just described his condition and named where he thinks it came from, and the answer he receives is an instruction to move his own foot. No explanation of the affliction is offered; relief arrives through an ordinary action and ordinary water, given both for washing and for drinking. The cure is set exactly where the man is already standing, and reaching it costs him one movement.
