Surah Fatir — 35:8

أَفَمَن زُيِّنَ لَهُۥ سُوٓءُ عَمَلِهِۦ فَرَءَاهُ حَسَنًا ۖ فَإِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُضِلُّ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَهْدِى مَن يَشَآءُ ۖ فَلَا تَذْهَبْ نَفْسُكَ عَلَيْهِمْ حَسَرَٰتٍ ۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ عَلِيمٌۢ بِمَا يَصْنَعُونَ

Afaman zuyyina lahoo sooo'u 'amalihee fara aahu hasanaa; fa innal laaha yudillu mai yashaaa'u wa yahdee mai yahaaa'u falaa tazhab nafsuka 'alaihim hasaraat; innal laaha 'aleemun bimaa yasna'oon

Is the one whose evil deed is made to seem fair to him, so that he sees it as good — [like one rightly guided]? God lets stray whom he wills and guides whom he wills. So do not let yourself waste away in grief over them. Indeed, God knows what they do.
