Surah Ar-Rum — 30:31

Muneebeena ilaihi wattaqoohu wa aqeemus Salaata wa laa takoonoo minal mushrikeen

Turn back to him, be mindful of him, establish the prayer, and do not be among those who ascribe partners to God —

Reflection

Grammatically this hangs on the previous verse, which was addressed to one person in the singular; munībīn is plural, so the address widens to a community without a new command being issued. Ināba is the verb for turning back to somewhere you belong, which fits the original disposition named just before. The failure the passage goes on to name is factions splitting the way of life, each party pleased with its own share.
