Ta Sin Mim.
These are the verses of the clear Book.
Perhaps you will grieve yourself to death because they will not believe.
If we willed, we could send down upon them a sign from the sky, and their necks would remain bent before it in submission.
No fresh reminder comes to them from the Most Merciful without their turning away from it.
They have denied it, and news of what they used to mock will surely reach them.
Have they not looked at the earth — how many noble kinds we have caused to grow in it?
Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them were not believers.
And indeed, your Lord is the Almighty, the Merciful.
And when your Lord called out to Musa: "Go to the wrongdoing people —
  11. 26:11 قَوْمَ فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ أَلَا يَتَّقُونَ the people of Pharaoh. Will they not be mindful of God?
He said, "My Lord, I fear they will call me a liar,
My chest tightens and my tongue will not speak freely, so send for Harun.
And they hold a charge against me, so I fear they will kill me.
God said, "No. Go, both of you, with our signs — we are with you, listening."
So go, both of you, to Pharaoh and say: 'We are messengers from the Lord of all the worlds,
Let the Children of Israel go with us.”'
Pharaoh said, "Did we not raise you among us as a child, and did you not stay with us for years of your life?
And you did the deed you did, and you were among the ungrateful.
Musa said, "I did it then, when I was among those who had lost their way.
So I fled from you when I feared you, and my Lord granted me wisdom and made me one of the messengers.
And is this the favor you hold over me — that you enslaved the Children of Israel?
Pharaoh said, "And what is the Lord of the Worlds?"
Musa said, "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them — if only you had certainty."
He said to those around him, "Do you not hear?"
Musa said, "Your Lord, and the Lord of your forefathers of old."
Pharaoh said, "This messenger sent to you is truly mad."
Musa said, "Lord of the east and the west and all that lies between them — if only you would reason."
He said, "If you take any god other than me, I will surely make you one of the imprisoned."
Musa said, "Even if I bring you something clear?"
He said, "Then bring it, if you are telling the truth."
So he threw down his staff, and at once it was a clear serpent.
And he drew out his hand, and there it was — shining white to all who looked on.
He said to the chiefs around him, "Indeed, this is a skilled sorcerer.
He means to drive you out of your land with his sorcery, so what do you advise?
They said, "Hold him and his brother back, and send gatherers into the cities
  37. 26:37 يَأْتُوكَ بِكُلِّ سَحَّارٍ عَلِيمٍ to bring you every skilled sorcerer."
So the sorcerers were gathered for the appointed time of a known day.
And the people were asked, "Will you gather together?
  40. 26:40 لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَـٰلِبِينَ so that we may follow the magicians if they are the victors.
When the magicians arrived, they said to Pharaoh, "Will there be a reward for us if we are the victors?"
He said, "Yes, and you will then be among those brought near."
Musa said to them, "Throw down whatever you are going to throw."
So they threw down their ropes and their staffs and said, "By the might of Pharaoh, we are surely the victors."
Then Musa threw his staff, and at once it swallowed up their deceptions.
And the magicians fell down prostrate,
They said, "We believe in the Lord of all the worlds,
  48. 26:48 رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَـٰرُونَ the Lord of Musa and Harun."
Pharaoh said, "You have believed in him before I gave you permission. He must be your chief, the one who taught you magic. Soon you will know: I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all."

  56. 26:56 وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَـٰذِرُونَ and we are a host fully on guard.
So we drove them out from gardens and springs,
  58. 26:58 وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ and treasures, and a noble station —
So it was. And we gave these things as inheritance to the Children of Israel.
So they pursued them at sunrise.
When the two hosts came in sight of each other, the companions of Musa said, "We are surely overtaken."
He said, "No — my Lord is with me, and he will guide me."
And we revealed to Musa: "Strike the sea with your staff." It parted, and each side stood like a great mountain.
