أَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَأُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوحٍ وَعَادٍ وَثَمُودَ وَقَوْمِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَأَصْحَـٰبِ مَدْيَنَ وَٱلْمُؤْتَفِكَـٰتِ ۚ أَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُم بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ ۖ فَمَا كَانَ ٱللَّهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلَـٰكِن كَانُوٓا۟ أَنفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ
Alam yaatihim naba ul lazeena min qablihim qawmi Noohinw wa 'Aadinw wa Samooda wa qawmi Ibraaheema wa ashaabi adyana walmu'tafikaat; atathum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati famaa kaanal laahu liyazlimahum wa laakin kaanooo anfusahum yazlimoon
Czy nie doszła do was wieść o tych, którzy byli przed wami? O ludzie Noego, o ludzie Ad i Samud, o ludzie Abrahama i o mieszkańcach Madian, i o miastach wywróconych do fundamentów? Przychodzili do nich ich posłańcy z jasnymi dowodami. I to nie Bóg wyrządził im niesprawiedliwość, lecz oni sami sobie wyrządzili niesprawiedliwość.
Has the news of those before them not reached them — the people of Nuh, and ʿAd, and Thamud, the people of Ibrahim, the dwellers of Madyan, and the overturned cities? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. God would never wrong them, but they were wronging themselves.
