يُسْقَوْنَ مِن رَّحِيقٍ مَّخْتُومٍ
Yusqawna mir raheeqim makhtoom
Będą pojeni winem szlachetnym, pieczętowanym;
They will be given to drink of a sealed nectar,
Raḥīq names the finest wine, clear and unmixed, a word the Qur'an uses here and nowhere else. Makhtūm adds that it comes to them still sealed, so whoever drinks is the first to open it and no hand has been in it before. The verb is passive too: the righteous, on the couches of two lines earlier, are served, and someone else does the pouring.
