مَّآ أَفَآءَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ رَسُولِهِۦ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْقُرَىٰ فَلِلَّهِ وَلِلرَّسُولِ وَلِذِى ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ وَٱلْيَتَـٰمَىٰ وَٱلْمَسَـٰكِينِ وَٱبْنِ ٱلسَّبِيلِ كَىْ لَا يَكُونَ دُولَةًۢ بَيْنَ ٱلْأَغْنِيَآءِ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَمَآ ءَاتَىٰكُمُ ٱلرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَىٰكُمْ عَنْهُ فَٱنتَهُوا۟ ۚ وَٱتَّقُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ ۖ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ شَدِيدُ ٱلْعِقَابِ
Maaa afaaa'al laahu 'alaa Rasoolihee min ahlil quraa falillaahi wa lir Rasooli wa lizil qurbaa wal yataamaa walmasaakeeni wabnis sabeeli kai laa yakoona doolatam bainal aghniyaaa'i minkum; wa maaa aataakumur Rasoolu fakhuzoohu wa maa nahaakum 'anhu fantahoo; wattaqul laaha innal laaha shadeedul-'iqaab
To, co dał Bóg Swojemu Posłańcowi jako zdobycz od mieszkańców miast, to należy do Boga i do Jego Posłańca, do bliskich krewnych i do sierot, do biedaków i do podróżnego; tak żeby to nie przechodziło kolejno do bogatych spośród was. A to, co wam daje Posłaniec, to bierzcie; a czego wam zakazał, od tego się powstrzymajcie! I bójcie się Boga! Zaprawdę, Bóg jest straszny w karaniu!
Whatever God has restored to his Messenger from the people of the townships belongs to God and to the Messenger, to the near of kin, the orphans, the needy, and the traveler — so that it does not circulate only among the rich among you. Whatever the Messenger gives you, take it; and whatever he forbids you, refrain from. And be mindful of God: indeed, God is severe in retribution.
