أَعِندَهُۥ عِلْمُ ٱلْغَيْبِ فَهُوَ يَرَىٰٓ
A'indahoo 'ilmul ghaibi fahuwa yaraa
Czyż posiada on wiedzę tego, co skryte, aby mógł widzieć?
Does he have knowledge of the unseen, so that he sees?
The question lands on the man of the two verses before it, who gave a small amount and then stopped. What the passage asks is what he would have to know for that to be reasonable: withholding is a wager on how things turn out, and only someone able to see the unseen would be entitled to place it. The verses following point to where knowledge of that kind actually comes from, in the scriptures of Musa and Ibrahim.
