وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ أَقَامُوا۟ ٱلتَّوْرَىٰةَ وَٱلْإِنجِيلَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيْهِم مِّن رَّبِّهِمْ لَأَكَلُوا۟ مِن فَوْقِهِمْ وَمِن تَحْتِ أَرْجُلِهِم ۚ مِّنْهُمْ أُمَّةٌ مُّقْتَصِدَةٌ ۖ وَكَثِيرٌ مِّنْهُمْ سَآءَ مَا يَعْمَلُونَ
Wa law annahum aqaamut Tawraata wal Injeela wa maaa unzila ilaihim mir Rabbihim la akaloo min fawqihim wa min tahti arjulihim; minhum ummatum muqta sidatunw wa kaseerum minhum saaa'a maa ya'maloon
Gdyby zachowywali Torę i Ewangelię, i to, co im zostało zesłane od ich Pana, to z pewnością żywiliby się i z tego, co jest ponad nimi, i z tego, co jest pod ich stopami. Wśród nich są ludzie, którzy zachowują umiarkowanie, lecz wielu z nich jakże źle czyni!
Had they upheld the Torah, the Gospel, and what was sent down to them from their Lord, they would have been nourished from above them and from beneath their feet. Among them is a balanced community, but many of them — evil is what they do.
