فَلَوْلَا نَصَرَهُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ قُرْبَانًا ءَالِهَةًۢ ۖ بَلْ ضَلُّوا۟ عَنْهُمْ ۚ وَذَٰلِكَ إِفْكُهُمْ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ يَفْتَرُونَ
Falaw laa nasarahumul lazeenat takhazoo min doonil laahi qurbaanan aalihatam bal dalloo 'anhum' wa zaalika ifkuhum wa maa kaanoo yaftaroon
A dlaczegoż to nie pomogli im ci, których oni wzięli sobie za bogów, poza Bogiem, jako sposób zbliżenia? Przeciwnie, oni odeszli od nich. Takie jest ich oszustwo i to, co oni wymyślili.
Why then did those they took as gods besides God — meant to bring them closer — not help them? No, they abandoned them utterly. That was their lie, and what they kept inventing.
