وَأَمَّا ثَمُودُ فَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ فَٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟ ٱلْعَمَىٰ عَلَى ٱلْهُدَىٰ فَأَخَذَتْهُمْ صَـٰعِقَةُ ٱلْعَذَابِ ٱلْهُونِ بِمَا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
Wa ammaa Samoodu fahadinaahum fastahabbul 'ama 'alal huda fa akhazathum saa'iqatul 'azaabil hooni bimaa kaanoo yaksiboon
A jeśli chodzi o lud Samud, to prowadziliśmy ich drogą prostą, lecz oni woleli ślepotę zamiast drogi prostej. Dosięgną ich więc grom kary poniżającej za to, co oni czynili.
As for Thamud, we guided them, but they preferred blindness over guidance, so the thunderbolt of humiliating punishment seized them for what they had earned.
