وَمَن لَّمْ يَسْتَطِعْ مِنكُمْ طَوْلًا أَن يَنكِحَ ٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ فَمِن مَّا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَـٰنُكُم مِّن فَتَيَـٰتِكُمُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنَـٰتِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِإِيمَـٰنِكُم ۚ بَعْضُكُم مِّنۢ بَعْضٍ ۚ فَٱنكِحُوهُنَّ بِإِذْنِ أَهْلِهِنَّ وَءَاتُوهُنَّ أُجُورَهُنَّ بِٱلْمَعْرُوفِ مُحْصَنَـٰتٍ غَيْرَ مُسَـٰفِحَـٰتٍ وَلَا مُتَّخِذَٰتِ أَخْدَانٍ ۚ فَإِذَآ أُحْصِنَّ فَإِنْ أَتَيْنَ بِفَـٰحِشَةٍ فَعَلَيْهِنَّ نِصْفُ مَا عَلَى ٱلْمُحْصَنَـٰتِ مِنَ ٱلْعَذَابِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَنْ خَشِىَ ٱلْعَنَتَ مِنكُمْ ۚ وَأَن تَصْبِرُوا۟ خَيْرٌ لَّكُمْ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ
Wa mal lam yastati' minkum tawlan ai yankihal muhsanaatil mu'minaati famimmaa malakat aimaanukum min fatayaatikumul mu'minaat; wallaahu a'lamu bi eemaanikum; ba'dukum mim ba'd; fankihoohunna bi izni ahlihinna wa aatoohunna ujoorahunna bilma'roofi muhsanaatin ghaira musaa fihaatinw wa laa muttakhizaati akhdaan; fa izaaa uhsinna fa in ataina bifaahi shatin fa'alaihinnna nisfu maa 'alal muhsanaati minal 'azaab; zaalika liman khashiyal 'anata minkum; wa an tasbiroo khairul lakum; wallaahu Ghafoorur Raheem
A komu nie starcza majątku na to, aby poślubić kobiety chronione wierzące, to niech poślubia te dziewczęta wierzące, którymi zawładnęły wasze prawice. A Bóg najlepiej zna waszą wiarę! Wy jesteście jedni od drugich. Poślubiajcie je za pozwoleniem ich rodziny i dajcie im wiana, zgodnie z uznanym zwyczajem, jak kobietom chronionym, a nie jak kobietom rozpustnym ani też przyjmującym przyjaciół. A kiedy one już są chronione, to jeśli popełnią jakieś wszeteczeństwo, spadnie na nie połowa tej kary, jaka spada na kobiety chronione. To jest dla tych spośród was, którzy obawiają się grzechu. Ale lepiej jest dla was, abyście byli cierpliwi. A Bóg jest przebaczający, litościwy!
And whoever among you cannot afford to marry free, believing women may marry from the believing young women whom your right hands rightfully hold. God knows best your faith; you are of one another. So marry them with the permission of their people and give them their due bridal gifts in kindness — chaste women, not given to fornication, nor taking secret lovers. Once they are in the shelter of marriage, if they commit a grave indecency, their penalty is half of what is prescribed for free women. This is for those among you who fear hardship, but to be patient is better for you. And God is forgiving and merciful.
