Surah An-Nisa — 4:130

وَإِن يَتَفَرَّقَا يُغْنِ ٱللَّهُ كُلًّا مِّن سَعَتِهِۦ ۚ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ وَٰسِعًا حَكِيمًا

Wa iny-yatafarraqaa yughnil laahu kullam min sa'atih; wa kaanal laahu Waasi'an Hakeemaa

A jeśli małżonkowie się rozłączą, to Bóg wzbogaci każde Swoją obfitością. Bóg jest wszechobejmujący, mądry!

And if they part, God will enrich each of them out of his abundance. God is all-encompassing, all-wise.

Reflection

Two verses of pressure toward reconciliation end here with what remains if it fails, and the promise is distributive: kullan, each of the two, neither enriched at the other's expense. Saʿa means room and capacity, and it returns at once as the divine name closing the line, Wāsiʿ, so the abundance drawn on and the one drawing on it are named with the same word.
