ٱللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ ٱلْحَدِيثِ كِتَـٰبًا مُّتَشَـٰبِهًا مَّثَانِىَ تَقْشَعِرُّ مِنْهُ جُلُودُ ٱلَّذِينَ يَخْشَوْنَ رَبَّهُمْ ثُمَّ تَلِينُ جُلُودُهُمْ وَقُلُوبُهُمْ إِلَىٰ ذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُدَى ٱللَّهِ يَهْدِى بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ ۚ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ
Allahu nazzala ahsanal hadeesi Kitaabam mutashaa biham masaaniy taqsha'irru minhu juloodul lazeena yakhshawna Rabbahum summa taleenu julooduhum wa quloo buhum ilaa zikril laah; zaalika hudal laahi yahdee bihee mai yashaaa'; wa mai yudlilil laahu famaa lahoo min haad
Bóg zesłał najpiękniejsze opowiadanie - Księgę, zawierającą podobne do siebie powtórzenia, od których cierpnie skóra tych, którzy się boją swego Pana; potem ich skóra i ich serca stają się miękkie na napomnienie Boga. To jest droga Boga, którą On prowadzi, kogo chce. A kogo On sprowadzi z niej, to nie ma już dla niego żadnego przewodnika.
God has sent down the most beautiful of words — a book consistent within itself, its truths echoing in pairs. The skins of those who stand in awe of their Lord shiver at it; then their skins and their hearts soften at the remembrance of God. Such is the guidance of God, by which he guides whomever he wills. And whomever God leaves to stray has no guide.
