ءَأَتَّخِذُ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ ءَالِهَةً إِن يُرِدْنِ ٱلرَّحْمَـٰنُ بِضُرٍّ لَّا تُغْنِ عَنِّى شَفَـٰعَتُهُمْ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يُنقِذُونِ
'A-attakhizu min dooniheee aalihatan iny-yuridnir Rahmaanu bidurril-laa tughni 'annee shafaa 'atuhum shai 'anw-wa laa yunqizoon
Czyż mam brać sobie bogów poza Nim? Jeśli Miłosierny zechce dotknąć mnie jakimś złem, to nic mi nie pomoże ich wstawiennictwo i oni mnie nie zbawią.
Shall I take other gods besides him? If the Most Merciful intends harm for me, their intercession will avail me nothing, nor can they rescue me.
