إِنَّا عَرَضْنَا ٱلْأَمَانَةَ عَلَى ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْجِبَالِ فَأَبَيْنَ أَن يَحْمِلْنَهَا وَأَشْفَقْنَ مِنْهَا وَحَمَلَهَا ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ كَانَ ظَلُومًا جَهُولًا
Innaa 'aradnal amaanata 'alas samaawaati walardi wal jibaali fa abaina ai yahmil nahaa wa ashfaqna minhaa wa hamalahal insaanu innahoo kaana zalooman jahoolaa
Zaofiarowaliśmy depozyt niebiosom, ziemi i górom, lecz one odmówiły noszenia go i przestraszyły się; poniósł go człowiek - on przecież jest niesprawiedliwy i nieświadomy -
Indeed, we offered the trust to the heavens and the earth and the mountains, but they refused to bear it and were afraid of it — and the human being bore it. Indeed, he has been unjust and ignorant.
