وَإِذَا تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ ءَايَـٰتُنَا وَلَّىٰ مُسْتَكْبِرًا كَأَن لَّمْ يَسْمَعْهَا كَأَنَّ فِىٓ أُذُنَيْهِ وَقْرًا ۖ فَبَشِّرْهُ بِعَذَابٍ أَلِيمٍ
Wa izaa tutlaa 'alayhi Aayaatunaa wallaa mustakbiran ka al lam yasma'haa ka anna feee uzunwihi waqran fabash shiru bi'azaabin aleem
A kiedy jemu recytują Nasze znaki, on się odwraca pełen dumy, jak gdyby ich nie słyszał, jak gdyby w jego uszach była głuchota. Obwieść mu więc karę bolesną!
When our signs are recited to him, he turns away in arrogance, as if he had not heard them, as if there were a heaviness in his ears. So give him news of a painful punishment.
