Jedna z nich powiedziała: "Ojcze mój! Weź go na służbę! Przecież on jest najlepszym człowiekiem, jakiego ty możesz wynająć - silny, godny zaufania."
One of the two women said, "Father, hire him. The best you can hire is one who is strong and trustworthy."
Two qualities settle the hire, strength and trustworthiness, and the pair are named together just once elsewhere: at 27:39 an ifrit offers Sulayman the identical credentials for an entirely different job. Here the words come from a young woman appraising a stranger she met that day at the well, and the tradition never agreed on which of the two sisters spoke. Her father acts on her judgement at once.
