أَلَمْ تَرَ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزْجِى سَحَابًا ثُمَّ يُؤَلِّفُ بَيْنَهُۥ ثُمَّ يَجْعَلُهُۥ رُكَامًا فَتَرَى ٱلْوَدْقَ يَخْرُجُ مِنْ خِلَـٰلِهِۦ وَيُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلسَّمَآءِ مِن جِبَالٍ فِيهَا مِنۢ بَرَدٍ فَيُصِيبُ بِهِۦ مَن يَشَآءُ وَيَصْرِفُهُۥ عَن مَّن يَشَآءُ ۖ يَكَادُ سَنَا بَرْقِهِۦ يَذْهَبُ بِٱلْأَبْصَـٰرِ
Alam tara annal laaha yuzjee sahaaban summa yu'allifu bainahoo summa yaj'aluhoo rukaaman fataral wadqa yakhruju min khilaalihee wa yunazzilu minas samaaa'i min jibaalin feehaa mim barain fa yuseebu bihee mai yashaaa'u wa yasrifuhoo 'am mai yashaaa'u yakkaadu sanaa barqihee yazhabu bil absaar
Czy ty nie widziałeś, iż Bóg pędzi chmury, potem je łączy razem, potem układa je warstwami? Widzisz przecież, jak obfity deszcz wylewa się spomiędzy nich. On zsyła z nieba góry pełne gradu i dosięga nim, kogo chce, i oszczędza, kogo chce. Blask Jego błyskawicy omal nie porywa spojrzenia.
Do you not see that God drives the clouds, then joins them together, then piles them into a mass, and you see the rain emerge from within them? And from the sky he sends down mountains of hail, striking with it whom he wills and turning it away from whom he wills. The flash of its lightning nearly takes the sight away.
